Keash Equestrian Centre is located 20minutes from Sligo Town and 10minutes from Boyle Town. The village itself is situated just 2 miles from Ballymote. When you come into ballymote take the boyle road and we are on the left hand side approx 2 miles from the town. If you are coming from boyle you take the ballymote road and we are approx 9mile from there on the right hand side. Keash is well know for it caves and beautiful countryside. As your travelling into our equestrian centre you can see the caves of keash above us. One of our most popular events in Keash is Garland Sunday, which is held on the last Sunday of July each year. Adults and children come from all over to enjoy the fun and games held at this event. Here at Keash Equestrian Centre we cater for all types of lessons. We have recently qualified in Equine Assisted Therapy and run a full range of programmes to facilitate all types of disabilities. Our Therapy programmes involve gaining experience in all aspects of equestrian life from working with the horse to the husbandry of the animal along with developing actual riding skills in a safe controlled environment. We aim to promote and encourage independence through participation, goal setting and life learning. Special emphasises are focused on the fostering of positive physical and mental health. Also the general overall well-being of the participant, along with combining the elements of increased self-esteem, confidence, communication skills, balance and co-ordination by using the horse as a learning tool will help to achieve targeted goals.
We at Keash Equestrian Centre have found from our experience and our understanding of our clients, who we have worked with over many years that children and adults who are challenged through a disability, by introducing them to Equine Assisted Therapies has proven to be highly beneficial and rewarding. These benefits for the participant both from a personal and social perspective can help them greatly to learn about themselves from their interaction with horses.
Here at Keash Equestrian Centre we pride ourselves on providing a safe and professional facility to accommodate both adults and children of all ages and abilities. Our centre has a fully qualified Equine Assisted Therapy Facilitator on site who is dedicated to the needs and aspirations of her clients.

There are excellent parking facilities at out equestrian centre for all types of lorries and horse boxes, disabled parking.
In our riding school safety is paramount and for this reason all riders are checked before they mount and also while they are on the horses. All our riders must wear the safety helmets provided.
